I've always liked Lindy. As a player AND coach. Just a tough and likable guy. Best of luck. We need it.

Lindy belongs in blue & gold . Spot on interview. Can't wait for the season to start already. Man he is so down to earth. A lot of widsom in that Noggin I hope the young guys pick up what he's putting down.

Lindy’s the best addition they made this year. Whole new attitude and philosophy.

Great interview! I really felt last season the team was just a few adjustments away from winning many more games. I think Lindy has his finger on those details and will help us get there.

Lindy inadvertently spilled the beans… he said the rest of the league’s coaches saw what we did 2 years ago and “took it away”. Donny is a class act, but just like Marv in those Super Bowls, he got outcoached. He probably thought he could run the same gameplan back again because it was so effective and our scoring was off the charts… but the rest of the coaches studied it during the summer and found ways to stop us. Lindy won’t make that mistake and will make adjustments when needed, even mid-game if need be.

i've always thought that marv levy was just not that great a coach. the early 90s bills had everything necessary to be a dynasty, but they pissed it away every super bowl.

I LOVE how evrybody sais "Welcome back". I say Welcome back HOME Mr Lindy Ruff!!! Ppl do need to settle down a little tho as it not only is early in the season but Mr Ruff IS just getting started wit this Very Very Young Team. Nothing changes ovrnite nor will it in a few short weeks. It takes time, especially with the style of extremely physical n Gritty play he coaches. @ 8:15- 8:57 he basically sais that. He's has to completely change the entire mentality of the past few seasons of Finesse n Fancy Hockey into a rough (pun intended) n Hell of A Lot more tough n physical play from Every single 1 of the young men not just some of em. His team's of the past were Always known for a hard-nosed style game. He's gotta mold this team into Hockey Players, Not just guys who happen to play Hockey cuz there Is a HUGE HUGE difference in the 2

This is eother going to be the best decision ever to bring him back and be exactly what the young talent needs to thrive and take the next step. Or, its going to go up in flames and lead to the gm being fired and the core getting blown up.

Lindy Ruff coached Sabres teams were ALWAYS tough to play against. Im hoping he brings that back to this team, cuz they soft as baby turds. 👍👍

Lindy, concentrate on the power play. Concentrate on getting the puck to the front of the opposition net, and having a couple of Sabres crashing the net. With any PP success at all last season (2023-24), the Sabres would have made the playoffs.

Great interview love the last question all the idiots who don’t get having someone to police The other teams players who like to take advantage is needed because they take liberties and we’ve seen it the last three years in particular, but a lot of young players other teams have taken liberties because we can’t do anything about it.Duh

I hope they hired him because they felt he was the best option and not because of the sentimental value. I hope this works out.
