Lloyd, i think you did an outstanding job, with an EXCELLENT teacher! The final warp can be gotten out in tempering. Thomas Raahauge Well how does the magic of the Noldor work? Does it detect DNA? Or biographical history? Or is it more like JavaScript, and what an orc *is* defined by the enchanter? If the latter be true, the blade would always glow around any modern Englishmen, considering the Normans and such. If the second be true, the blade would glow for anyone born in France, but we all agree king Richard was an Englishman... If that latter be true, what if the definition of being “French” changes? For example, the definition of the French in Napoleon’s day would be much different from a modern or medieval one... Since Orcs were originally elves before Morgoth corrupted them, and the blades don’t glow around elves, it can’t be purely genetic. Likewise, orcs come from everywhere in middle earth...
@eyalserussi6656 жыл бұрын
perhaps the defenition of an orc is, like you said, elves that have been corrupted by Morgoth, and that's the defenition for the magic.

We mortals are but shadows and dust, and I have no wisdom, no insights to offer, that would even come close to match your enlightened words. I shall, however, stand by my meager words and claim, that the blade glows - be the glow blue or beige - upon the proximity of sentient entities that include the consumption of frogs in their diet.
