Everyone was saying that the judges will rate tricks higher than the technicality of the line. But the man did two backflips too. What was so special about the other runs that his score was so low? I mean all the runs were just a few flips. The only one who was doing some more technical tricks was Semenuk but he crashed. Is adding a single front flip or a double backflip really beating riding a gnarly line like this?

Been watching the live feed and taken a break as second runs delayed - what I still can’t get my head round is how the handbag carnival partridge underfelt do the judges manage to miss-award points yet again… the crowd were absolutely spot-on to ‘boo’ your score, it was way too low and definitely one of the finest performances of immense control that we’ve seen - you were robbed yet again: WTF?! I am disgusted with the judging. What is the point of a “freeride” event if you can’t “freeride”?! Everyone hitting the same lines, the same drops doing the same tricks isn’t “freeride”. Bren dog, you saw the mountain in a different way to everyone else and showed everyone what crazy shit can be done on a bike. bear claw and red bull rampage judging have just shown themselves right up. You free rode that mountain a shed load better than anyone else in the whole event (so far). You did us all so proud!

Judges expectations completely miss the idea of rampage at the beginning and for last couple of years the character of the event has changed to more slopestyle oriented and completely miss the point of freeriding. Brandon and Co. 've showncreativity and how fun freeriding can be! IM from Poland so always cheer to Szymon Godziek :) but you are the Man!

I was there and booing wholeheartedly. I can guarantee the the booing for Brenden's score was louder than the cheers for any other. We came down from our viewing area to the corral, when Silva and the others came back down to wait for a possible second run. Brenden was there with a headset on. They weren't broadcasting, but he was laughing and having a great time chatting with the guys. Not bitter or upset. He knows he put together a gnarly run. Just wasn't rewarded appropriately. Seems like every year it's becoming more Red Bull and less Rampage.

Brendawgs lines are so insane. Last year should have won with that canyon gap because he didn’t really know if he was going to make it or not. No one is going that massive with so much exposure and danger in my opinion. This year t Mac line looks insane but last years canyon gap was not really a drop making it more risky from what I can tell. For that uncertainty he should have won I think. Brendan's run was true Rampage. Hard to do, gnarly, creative lines with exposure and an immense amount of bike control needed. It seems that Rampage has become more Crankworx in terms of judging which is really a bummer. In the spirt of the event, Brendan's run was at minimum top 3, if not more. The other runs, while amazing, just seemed like a trick or jumping contest. Way to ride Brendan! You're an inspiration to so many!
