[Line of Fire] [Unity 3D] FPS Update #3

This is Update 3 for Line of Fire. Its not big but that's because we have remade everything.
From now on Daniel Ruban is going to make our music.
We as Remixgames own all the rights to Daniel Ruban titles.

We are looking for extra coders who have experience in coding AI or just have a general Unity3D Experience. It would be very handy if the coder also have any networking experience.
We are also looking for animators. What the animator can expect is Weapon-Character-Cutscene Animations. Animators should also have a working knowledge of how 3DSmax or Maya works.
We prefer students because it is a learning experience for all of us and it will look good on a collage resume or portfolio.

you guys have sooooo much potential. Most game developers are so scared to deter away from the usual which causes most fps games to turn out like the big name games such as call of duty. You guys really should step out of the box and introduce a new gameplay feature that makes your game unique. One of the questions you have to ask yourself as game developers is would you play THIS game over other games that are similar to it. anyways that's just my 10 cents but nice work none the less.

I have a small suggestion: when the weapon isn't in ADS, try aligning it with a Golden Mean spiral (where the center is closer to the bottom right corner) I recently read an article written by one of the animators of Medal Of Honor, where he said that placement was always the most visually pleasing.

Render the output of a camera infront of the scope to a texture, then assign that material to a plane infront of the scope. Gives a really nice look. Maybe add a fishyeye effect?

This update wont be released since we have rewriten the game and changed lots of stuff. Before we will have it working again it will take atleast some weeks. But if you subscribe to our new channel u will see the next update video where we maybe anounce the open alpha.

You don't per chance have an ETA on the new update do ya? Im so excited!!! To be quite honest im looking forward to this more than most AAA releases this year! This is the one game I look forward to seeing gameplay from, and you know what? I really want to see this update :D

Wow, It's awesome and the background music is simple and elegant. Can I know which software you use for that? I'm use Ableton Live and how hard I try I won't get such awesome music.

This version was not released. You probaly tried to open Update 2. Update 2 has already been taken down since we couldn't pay for the server.

This game has the potential to be quite big. Not like MW3 (Obviously) but like Red Crucible 2 and others alike. But please please please change your bullet hit particles to something better.

No i dont think we are gonna switch to UDK since unity supports low end hardware and unity is much easier to use in terms of workflow and speed compared to UDK
