@@beastlychase man i hooked up a line output converter tapping of the stock subwoofer. Everything worked fine for about 3 months and then one day no sound from the subwoofer. Thought blew the subs. Checked it n they were good. Bought n changed the amp thinking it was burnt. Hooked the new amp n it got power but no sounds. Any idea what could it be. Car is 02 lexus ls430 with navi n premium sound system. Btw i never hooked up the power or ground on the pac lc7. Just use the speaker wires.

@@roblinprasad528 disclaimer I have no idea what I’m talking about: perhaps your wires got too hot and burned through? I’ve heard that can happen and cause a fire.

I'm subscribed man and your vids are epic for reference JP, I do installs and am a sound engineer, trained analog lol old skool. Put this into your vast knowledge toolbox Bro. With subs, you totally can just twist the loc line ins together and hit a svc sub for signal, stereo image wise. Frequencies below 250Hz are Omni or non directional ok. You cannot hear any left or right even if the engineer hard panned it left and right. The human ear cannot detect that(Haas effect, distance between ears, size/shape of frequencies 20hz-250hz range. That's why subs are mono, or started as.... Lol 57 years old, saw subs evolve! You're right though on the balance/fader issue, but, sub amp gain adjust, or sub level in head unit? Hmmm. Cheers! Wavtech bassrestor is the way to go if you have a factory amp skip the basic loc and get the real deal . Your factory amp will lower your bass when you turn up the volume and it will also filter your bass

Hey hope all is well so I have a 2019 dodge charger, I am trying to add tweeter to the back left and right door and tap those speaker wires to the rear deck speakers Question is can I still go ahead and tap in the rear deck speakers when connecting my 4 and 2 channel line out converters ?

Niiiiice videos as ALWAYS JP. Question... I have a 4 channel amp....for four speakers...1 mono block to push a sub.....1 four channel LOC... speaker wires ran from from speakers to rear trunk... Car (2011 Chrysler 300) has a factory amp...Should the front speaker wires be tapped into from after the factory amp and the RCAs connected together to the amps? Please guild me....Thanks Much. So what powers the amp with a LOC? Does the LOC power the amp, or does the amp need to be ran to the car battery?

Good info. Here is one for ya. Head unit only has left and right speakers. Can you run a LOC to turn it into Left be the front and Right be rear to add 2 speakers?

I’ve never done any audio work, my car comes with an OEM 10”kicker but I bought 2 12” kickers to add. So what I understood is I have to add an loc to the factory amp, and get a separate amp for the 2 12’s. What steps am I missing? Do I connect the two amps together at the stereo or how would I go about this. Any info is greatly appreciated!

I got the lp7-4. Fresh install.. I tapped into both rear speakers intending to lose my left and right balance. splicing left side for front and right side for the rear. Is that okay? Will it cause any distortion because it's sharing the same signal? Will it be a weaker signal because it has to share the load. Im gonna try to tune it tomorrow using a multi meter... I know it's not the best method but I'm just trying to make it sound better then stock. I wasn't impressed hopefully I can make some changes tomorrow

Yo. Bro. So when I hook my sun up to rear speakers. I only ran wire from One speaker. An then hooked both posative and negs togther from the sub/amp. To the one speaker. It works but was wondering what I am loosing doing this that way. Yo. I really appreciate your help and input. Eddie

I installed a line output converters from after the amp in the rear. Or my Subaru. Hooked up to my Hertz amp. And it sounds bad. Like no highs. Adjust my gain on the loc. Still sounds bad. I have music but sounds low and bad

Have you ever had an LP7-2 that would not show any voltage on the multimeter but the LOC is working? I have tried 3 different multimeters with same results. I know it is hooked up right and I am experienced with using a multimeter. 2022 Dodge Ram 1500 Classic tapped in to rear speakers behind the radio. No premium sound system from factory

What would I use if I wanted to Tap into my rear speakers? I have two rear speakers They only 6.5 inch speakers, is that even a good point to tap in? I want to avoid getting a aftermarket dash.I also have no factory sub. I’m installing a aftermarket sub and amp.

As long as those speakers are getting full range frequency, yes. You can tap into those speakers. You will need to splice into the speaker wire. You will need an LOC, either one of the ones he spoke about will work.

yes the loc is just allowing low level signal to get to the amp your amp will provide power for how ever many subs you may want to power

If I’m using the lp7 2 to tap into my factory sub, can I connect the blue remote wire to remote connector on the amp and yellow power wire to the battery connector on the amp? Or do I have to find a way to run wires to the front of the car to tap into the fuse box? Thanks

ive defiantly seen it done that way. its not wrong if you think about it. you have a power wire going from the battery to the amp and a ground to the amp so some will take the black yellow and blue wire from the lp72 and wire it to the amp as well to catch problem i dont see anything wrong with it just fuse the yellow wire and make it clean...lol

Yes you can in that case you would cut the speaker wires run the 2 loc's to the signal side and speaker wires would go to the amps. Thats a really good question I might make a video on how to do that for yall.
