Line Tower Wars 5

In line tower wars, each player sends attackers to the next player on their right, while defending against attackers sent by the player to their left.
When attackers reach the base, they remove lives, and if no more lives are left, the player is defeated.
Towers and attackers are built by marble selection.
Gold is harvested by a marble.
A final marble determines when the attackers are sent to the next player.
Changes in this version:
- Higher starting income.
- Reduced cornering speed.
Colours:
Pink, Red, Yellow and Green

So a few ideas that came from watching this. 1. Maybe a guaranteed Econ option no matter what when shuffling to ensure that a color can always improve their Econ. 2. Once a type of option is capped remove it from the pool for shuffle. (I.E. if all tower slots filled no new tower options appear) 3. Include a way to purchase additional purchaser marbles to speed up spending rate. Also starting with a second one. (the amount of times a color was just having their marble bounce back and forth for a while before hitting a red option was a lot) 4. Maybe a cap on any specific type of tower or attacker to encourage variety and ensure that it is possible to get defenses for all types of attackers. The game is good, but watching such a dominant economy lose mainly due to not being able to spend it was slightly painful. Definitely enjoy this though and how much it has improved from the first game.

2 especially shows with Buy Life here. The life count of Red has already completely overflown to the point where the 2 topmost lives don't even matter because they're above the drop.

Same thing happened with Red and Yellow as well. Yellow kept aggressively spawning enemies on Green and Red kept aggressively spawning enemies on Yellow! It became a pattern going forward! Red would've survived longer had it have more HP damage infliction its enemies, more HP on its own allies to survive Pink's onslaught of weapons, and a little higher AS% as well!

I don't mean to rush you on anything Lost Marbles, but do you know how soon we might be able to see "Line Tower Wars 6" in pipeline of your schedule? I'm addicted to these kinds of videos of yours. Not saying I don't enjoy your other videos, because I do enjoy them; it's just these Line Tower Wars series of videos is what introduced me to your channel! And I've been hooked ever since!

I constantly have an internal struggle between making low effort videos (new runs of existing formats) versus medium effort videos (adding new features to existing format) versus high effort videos (entirely new formats), so at times I shy away from making additional repeats without adding anything to it. I do have plans of overhauling some of how this format works (e.g. shared shop), which I just haven't gotten around to. But it's the season of giving, so maybe I'll just do another simple run of this for you :)

You know Magenta/Pink was OG from early on. They had almost double the kill count than the next color. They had over 1700 kills before the next color even had 1000... Pink also balanced their resources much more efficiently than the other... Red had more money than the Queen but it didn't help in the end...

I am ecstatic about Magenta's win! I KNEW the splash damage was going to be worth it! And in addition the less attackers at the beginning only to overwhelm them at the end once they actually got all those attackers.... I'm just so happy my color won!

how does the shield field actually work? i've been confused by that since the first one; has anyone smarter than me figured it out?

It reduces damage taken by nearby units by 50%, e.g. a basic attacker with a shield field will take 2 hits instead of 1
