You should consider installing 8mil thick 3m securety film on all your window glass. It will make the Windows extremely strong against flying debris. I know the windshield has a layer of temper and an internal safety film... but an additional internal film on all glass will make it possible to stop high speed debris even on side glass. Also should put a piece of expanded metal behind the grille to protect the radiator.

windows should be Lexan. I am an ex- Drag Racer and having Lexan windows (bullet proof) is an extra safety feature.
@TheRabbut5 жыл бұрын
If you get close to a tornado it is going to shatter the car windows. honestly Idk why I haven’t seen storm chasers in a fully bullet proof beast of a car. Yeah it’s expensive but it works. Shits invincible.

@andregelserrano19738 жыл бұрын
They cant spray that with line x if they sprayed it they cant see anything through the glass but they should use Bulletproof glass for windshields and the windows

Should have just put the line x on over the wrap. It's about the only way you'll ever have a chance at getting it off with reasonable effort in the future.

@J8ck_hoff8 жыл бұрын
well a 6.5 truck bed cost around $500 and up in Canada. I assume these guys may be sponserd so it was probably cheap or free. but that's probably a 7-10 grand paint job maybe even more.

Dude what a shitty tornado hunter car you gotta armour the windows and shot
@YumYumGetchaSum8 жыл бұрын
Bad idea. Line-x makes it so your truck's crumple zones will no longer crumple, making it unsafe in a crash which is more likely than damage from a tornado. It also will add weight and a textured surface, both of which will hurt performance.
@vincevegacustoms88608 жыл бұрын
Jesus H. Christ you do know the crumble zones dont have line x on them only the sheet metal wich does nothing in a crash...it dont change a thing buddy
@MegF1428577 жыл бұрын
They said was only 350 pounds of weight, which isn't that much.
@swayzy7627 жыл бұрын
MegF 350 is a lot of extra weight. You don't know your cars lol
@4schitzangiggles6 жыл бұрын
OFFICIAL Laketh Empire KZbin 350# of weight is far less than using thicker metal or plastic, that truck won't know the difference performance wise. You do realize that people put more weight than that with light bars, after market bumpers and even larger tires will add far more weight than that. As far as crumple zones, those are engineered into the frame and interior structural panels. These guys drive INTO the tornado and damage from baseball sized Hail and flying debris is far more likely than an auto crash.
@getlit19796 жыл бұрын
Lol. Line x isn't *that* strong. Plus it's somewhat flexible. It'll crumple just fine fellas.
