I can remember 9 years ago first lineage2 days C1, C2, C3... the golden age of lineage 2, all players starting from lvl 1, no buff, no dances, even we dont used soulshots because the Gold drop rate was almost nothing,i can remember using alacrity and haste potions... no automatic soulshots, minimun exp each mob... no npc buff, no Shadow weapons, no common weapons/armors/jewel, no help at all... 50 % Smaller continent, no heine, no isle of prayers, no primeval island, no Kamael race yet, even no catacombs... Top grade B that you must craft, Blue Wolf, Doom, going to faraway places looking for mats, Crafting system was usefull... all those unknown and mysterious places... Reality, fantasy and magic put together, making L2 one of the best RPG never seen for the time... and Played by alot of people. Friends, neighbors... yes or not homies?...

Edward Dalgleish i've tried the l2 classic on l2 russia, its around 4hours exp / death on level 25, then they lowered the drop rates / adena by 7 good luck ^^ harder than l2's beggining

the best thing about this kind of games is when you start because you dont know anything and you just go everywhere to explore the map, you learn a lot, you try to improve, you make friends, go pk for no reason, get kill by a lvl 50 in one shot, but after 4 or more years, you just know most of the game, explored all the map, do most of the raids, can throw arrows like a machine gun, and probably know 80% of the skills of all heroes, the clan fights looks like "meh" its not the fault of NC all the games have a limit, you cant expect to enjoy it forever, thats why we all love C1, C2, C3, hope in some years a new game come with the same effect that l2 cause

Sometimes i play an interlude server just for the good memories, you know playing with full volume and at max capacity, its good to remember but definitely isn't the same, this game will be forever in my hearth, its my childhood represented on some towns, i really hope someday some company will make a game similar to lineage, a man can only hope ..

Oh God. I am older now and shed into tears every time I hear these Lineage 2 themes. I wish I could go back, I wish I knew back then how precious this time was and how outstanding this experience would be. I miss everyone, I wish I could find them all and talk to them, see they are well. I wish we could just all hop in and have another go. I know we can't. It's just so sad. Recently, one of my teammates back then, passed away. I am so struck by this, I am really struggling to recover from the emptiness I am feeling right now. Well Gludio was the first castle we got early on Teon. God help you all be well.

наверное мало кто начинал эту игру за Орков. Докачавшись до 15 уровня мы с друзьями накопили на телепорт в Глудин, потом пешком с боями добрались до Глудио, Диона. Были удивлены, что пробегая мимо никто особо даже не здоровается как было принято в Орк Вилладж)

played this game aimlessly when I did not speak english and only had a friend to tell me the basics of what to do. still, I have fond memories of exploring the lands about dion, gludio and gludin, and exploring the eerie lands. but it was truly music like this that really absolutely captivated me. these days I would not enjoy playing games like this, given I am single player type.

First real trading town in l2 back in prologue days. I remember upgrading my sword step by step, all the way to sword of revolution. Those were the days, I literally farmed over a million adena by killing mobs which dropped anywhere from 20-30, fuck did it take weeks, ruined my semester in college.
