The Blood Alliance Conflict - a Lineage II Vision Trailer

As a glimpse of a possible future and on behalf of the Lineage II team both at NCSOFT West and NCSOFT Korea, we would like to present you with a special treat.
This eight minute movie which combines the ever-epic battle style with the new server wars concept gives us a look into the minds of the developers and how truly grand Lineage II can be.
We are proud of the 10 year history of Lineage II and there is plenty more history in the making as we advance into the future. A close viewing of the movie reveals not only that rich history but also insight about what is yet to come.

Don't get me wrong i dont live in the past of L2. In fact i believe that GoD was a huge improvement that could however, be handled a lot better. That special something you see in L2 is the reason it still holds my attention. I study games design, and i do in general have a very strict view on games. There are mistakes in this game that even though, they could be bypassed, i cannot find myself to forgive. I could write a freaking book on where L2 is going wrong, but im glad you enjoy it :)

This made me cry! Please NCSoft bring back the old spirit of Lineage 2!!! This video proves that you can! GoD changed the game a lot and added some good things along with some bad changes, but if you flush out some the features and polish the game it can truly be A NEW GAME with the same spirit of the past!!!

I loved the art in this game I found it inspiring. I would love to see an upgrade in the graphics, battle system and and see Lineage 2 reborn some day. Someone has said this game is just shitty but the reality is modern RPG's apart from graphic updates are not really doing much different.

the world of lineage 2 was something diferent, all MMOs try to copy WOW but none copy l2, i must say its not just a game its a entery diferent world, i miss the feeling that you are not obliged to do quests or even change classes, best MMO of all times!

Back in those old times, when we had no fancy ass skills and armors or one winged beasts, we still had best times of out MMORPG expierence in those sieges!!. and it wasn't just the game itself... it was 50% for the community. Lineage2 was created and ment to be played for crouds.. for clans.. for ALLIANCES!! And we can have it back, even most of us dont like some of new stuff... but it was never perfect. All we need is our community back. Let's give it a 2nd shot, shall we?!

personally i think lineage 2 needed that gore since the begining, the lore says it is basically a heartless war for territories.. i think this trailer is kind of badass, and if you read carefully it says "Visual Trailer" nothing to do with the gameplay, its made for entertaiment and nothing more. Like they do with the Aion visual trailers, you dont see actual gameplay on those, only a showcase of graphics and enviroment, just enjoy the trailer... i dont even play L2 and i liked this trailer.

Well basically it goes like this. I did like Lineage2 and played for years before it was put to death by other professional mmos. The reason why i still watch videos of it, is because i can still see the potential it had/has and i'm interested to see changes and other things that can further increase my knowledge of the game's mechanics. I loved the old L2 world and it was the greatest mmo for a few reasons = Huge world full of secrets to explore adventure, new friends, Clans, Castles sieges, World bosses, crafting, trade, hunting, achieving the impossible with alot of effort.. sure it took huge amount of time to play but it was worth it ......a life time experience T.T and the new mmo's are all about pretty graphics shitty content kill x amount of y mobs and 11111x reruns on boring instances where u grind items. After L2 the only mmo i liked was Aion till 2.0 then the fewer instances and the lore faction base allowed some great pvp exp and world raids after that again tons of instances and expansions just to ruin everything

Instances are the future.. Just sayin.. If u liked the fact that the top clan in a server could camp a boss so you'll never beat it then you have issues with your brain.. With the instances, this problem is eliminated..

Nick Strife No you form allys with other clan and go try to take the boss away from the top clan. If you were playing the game as long as you say you would know by now that clans fall

Ugnius Nytkis Top clans don't fall, and most of lesser clans go ally with the top clans... Top clans fall only when its players stop playin for a while or they quit... Seriously i was playing this shit for YEARS during C4-C6.. Bosses and dungeons without, phases and instances are far too outdated...
