I've never seen the Leibniz and Laplace expansions being explained so simply. In particular, their relationship becomes almost trivial once you see this.

Is it planned you (someday) generalise all these linear algebraic properties in (IR)^n to any commutative field F^n or even to integral domains, commutative rings R^n ?
