These videos are awesome since I can work along with you and really understand what is going on. Your way of teaching is unlike that of my professor who just summarizes the book and its confusing theorems. This is now making sense to me thanks to you :)

Excellent presentations. I'm studying differential equations on my own and these lectures are extremely useful in understanding these things.

Thank you dr chris Tisdel. You have a wonderfull way of teaching making difficult parts of math so easy to understand. I teach math and i find your lectures a great help.Again, thank you very much from Athens,Greece!.

Good question. It appears that the two forms you list above are pretty much the same, all you would do is replace N by (P=-N) and also in the test for exactness (ie, use P_x=-N_x = M_y.) Have a play and see if it works out!

this is a serious helper. walked into class day one and swore I was learning Egyptian (still do now in week 4) and i have a test in 3 days, this really connected some dots that werent connecting in class and especially in the confusing classic 5th edition book by Zill that we learn from. I just need to study homon eqs and i can probably tackle the HW and study guide lol. one question.. can you point me to any vids on the steps where you find the h{x} and g(y)? I hear it but cant I see it lol. TY

Hello, do you have any videos on calculus I where you cover the chain, product rules etc.?

Thank you so much for this lecture. I have a quesion about the exact equations. The ones over here are according to general formula M dx + N dy = 0. But what if I have M dx - N dy = 0? Minus instead of plus? Are they solvable? How would one go solving them?

I wish the very end of the last example was explained, but thanks for the re-upload.

This has been very helpful! Thank you! How would I approach your second example if p(x) was e^2x rather than 2?

What if they are "almost exact"? I.e the partials of M and N differ only by a constant? For example, (2y²-x)·dx + (A·xy + 1)·dy = 0 when A is 1 instead of 4. Are there any methods for solving equations that "are in the form" of an exact equation, but the partial differentials of M and N are not equal?

thank you Dr chris tisdel, I like so much your method of teaching mathematics. I am student in master degree in partial differential equations and I request some help in the existence and uniquness of the solution of ODE, if you have any videos about this. And again thank you so much.

Hi - thanks. I do have a new playlist on basic concepts from analysis, so please take a look and see what you like (the first 3 or so lectures are accessible to good high school students).

The solution p(t) = (A.Pm) / (A + e^-kPmt) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZoqWlH2OorRraLs I think that this is incorrect? I calculate P(t) = (A.Pm) / (1 + e^-kPmt) does anyone else agree?
