@@simalle 1/3 * x is the same as x/3. Think about it using multiplication with fractions 1/3 * x/1 = 1 * x / 3 * 1 = x/3

There are many different types and all need to be covered. When you study the idea is to understand how to set up each problem. They all have a different formula or strategy involved. Good luck with finals.

You have an equation: 56x - 64 = 6x + 36 We are adding 64 to each side of the equation. This leads to use isolating x on the left side of the equation.
