The official text we used for the course was: H. A. Eiselt and Carl-Louis Sandblom, Operations Research: A Model Based Approach, 2nd Edition, Springer, Heidelberg, Germany, 2012. It was a nice book which was focused on application rather than theory, which was well suited for the course. Plus, at my university the students could read the the text for free via the library. While teaching, I would also reference H. A. Taha, Opterations Research: And Introduction, 10th Edition. Mainly, I would pull additional example problems from this text.
