Thank you Nelson for spending some time with us at BAF2019 and for all the cool raffle items...even though I did not win any of them. I had a great time at the event!

FYI, we did figure out the video issue, you can’t push 1080P down a 75 feet of HDMI cable reliably. When we reduced the resolution to 720P it started working.

Somebody brought a bit shorter cable. I tried all resolutions, it did not work. We tried 3 different notebook computers, they all saw the projector, but the projector did not see them!

That IS CORRECT GOOD SIR! Thats why they make HDMI to ethernet adapters for that specific reason. Over 25 feet or so, you need that powered ethernet adapter!

@@AllboroLCD thats called a Balun, BUT then again if you use a good cable 1080" is easy to push down a Single HDMI cable.

@@JasonLeaman I encountered this issue first hand years back, at first I tried the passive BALUN adapter you speak of. it was analog Dsub to RJ45 ethernet. It worked, but with poor video quality. Then I tried a powered HDMI adapter from tripplite. It worked well, though the max usable resolution depended on the length of network cable in between. I then moved onto a powered DSUB to RJ-45 adapter which netted me the best results for the length I needed (approx 75 feet).

@@AllboroLCD You don't want to use passive, you want active ones :P BTW i've used 100' hdmi cables on 1080P with out issues, you just need a decent cable and not a amazon crappy one. IMO the best for this length is to use an active Balun. :P
