Amazing technology in these chips from Linear Technology ..... Jim Drew did a great job of making it all clear and understandable. He should do more videos in the future. Little pieces of electronic magic all ready to be used!! And this device actually has a power handling capacity that is useable in a practical way..unlike the 3 mA produced by the LTC3108

Pedantic point... but the bridge rectifier in the block diagram shown at 4:09 has the piezo connected to the wrong points. Interesting IC though

With the right kind of antenna and ground I have been able to get as much as maximum 15 volt and 3MA from RF energy, but usually it hovers around 11 volt and 2.6 MA per .75cm2 area of a receiver, which corresponds to approximately 0.038 watt per sq cm square....approximately 380 watt per 1SQM... is not it amazing.....need an explanation from experts like. Myself an architect ...with a lot of DIY interest. But this discovery should be out of the world.
