I got LPE to do my heads and I kept the stock GM LS7 cam. My Z06 had 16,000 miles and LPE said all my exhaust valve guides were worn beyond the factory service limit of 0.0037 in. valve stem to guide clearance. I added an Airraid intake, ported TB, kooks LT headers, catted x-pipe and stock mufflers. 491 whp at 6100 RPM with a conservative road course tune on a dynojet. My goal was to have an engine I could thrash on the track without worrying about race gas or how close I was to detonation. I could have gotten closer to 515whp if I had deleted the cats and added a high flow true 3” muffler. Don’t misunderstand my numbers though. These heads are capable of 800 hp. Must flow unreal . Any specks on what these heads will do on a stock ls7 ?

Not that these are the best heads out there, but I'd take them over the Mast black label heads any day. Mast uses BIGGER valves and flow LESS air, and cost more. smh
