@@LearnEnglish_lifetips yes, level the playing field and roll with the punches are expressions quite interesting, nevertheless, is really helpful as well "draw the line". Would it be like to "set a boundary", isn't it?

Congratulations for your achievement!! I was living in Texas for 15 years and returned to Tokyo last year, I thought of applying for US citizenship but I didn't because I needed to give up Japanese citizenship, so I'm very happy for your life decision! Anyway, I can tell that I'm losing my English skills every day and your videos have been very practical for me to remind myself how American people speak, I really appreciate that!! Thank you!!

Native English speaker here. "Taking the high road" meaning is more of not allowing others bad behavior influence you to match their bad behavior. "She was so rude and insulted me, but I'm going to take the high road, and ignore her." Hope this helps😊

The idiom "on fire" is very interesting. I'm Hungarian, we also use something similar, but it means the exact opposite in Hungarian in my country. "He was burning" means failed or humiliated or something like these. "Fiery", this is said for animals during mating season. :)
