can you use floral stem wire instead of craft wire to support the tulips and leaves?
@lingzhihandmade7 ай бұрын
To support leaves, I usually use 0.5mm craft wires. To make the flower stem, I usually use 2mm floral stem which is a thicker craft wire coated with plastics.

I don't have "foldable" sticks but only rigid ones. How could I go about assembling the flower? PLEASE REPLY BECAUSE I HAVE TO GIVE US A GIFT AHAHA
@lingzhihandmade9 ай бұрын
Here I am 😆 Rigid ones can if work, it’s just you can’t fold the flower stem which is not a big problem. Bamboo BBQ skewers can also work 😆💕

i'm just wondering if the glue stick on the tulips won't come off in the long run? i'm contemplating between sewing the bottom of the petals to the stem or using glue like on the video. can anyone confirm? thanks!
@IsabellaDwight8 ай бұрын
Personally I would glue it because if you’re anything like me and can’t tie off the sowing properly then I would glue it but if houre sowing it I would use the glue gone to tie the loose threads together inside the flower xx hope this helps
@Xyughn8 ай бұрын
thank you, I totally get your point. I'm also having second thoughts about sewing the bottom of the petals because I saw another video that there is an individual wire per petal, and it's more time-consuming than just sticking them together with glue. haha!@@IsabellaDwight

Hello! I’m not quite sure what I’m about to say is helpful to you but if you crochet the tulip with white yarn and use watercolour to colour it in the way you want it should work and look neat. Be sure to dry it though!
