I’ve been following the pattern step by step for the flower heart but I’m also really confused because mine isn’t curling like a bowl like yours. It just continues as a flat circle for rounds 6-10 so I don’t know what I’m doing wrong😢

Hi! Very late, but maybe this helps someone else :) when crocheting, a circle will get bigger and bigger, not curling up, when you do the increases. when you stop doing them, so you keep crocheting in the round without increasing, your work will curl up. if it doesn't, the problem ist somewhere else - ask yourself if the needle is too big for the yarn and check what you did the last few rounds. this said, your circle is definitely going go curl up if the yarn fits the needle and you stopped doing increases! :)

I just wanted to make a comment. I am about to make this sunflower, and I don't think it's absolutely necessary to do the chain at the beginning of each round. You could just use a stitch marker and continue in the round. It would prevent that seam from forming, where you can tell the round starts. Just a thought.

Hi Sylvia. I also struggled on round 6 for 2 days. Lol. You have to ( sc sc then increase and then sc sc) then you start again (sc sc increase sc sc) for the entire row. I hope this makes sense to you. ❤ English is not my 1st language. You have to crochet sets of sc sc increase sc sc for the row.

I’m just a little confused on R4 & R5 in the beginning. Does (2sc, inc) and (3sc, inc) mean 2 & 1 and 3 & 1?

Inc(increase) means you do 2 single crochet in 1 stitch. So (2sc, inc) means 1sc in the first stitch, another sc in the second stitch, then 2sc in the third stitch, so on and so forth. 😊

I bought this pattern on Etsy and there are few mistakes . When you have patterns for leaves is 5dc inc instead 5x [dc inc] .Also I think supposed to be chain 10:instead 8 on R3 of petals second row.I bought more patterns from you. I hope no mistakes there. It took me time to find out what I am doing wrong. Otherwise the flowers are beautiful.

I think you might have made a mistake on the heart sinceyou had four rows of the seed but we started stitching on the back loop by row 7 😕

Hi, at round 6, it’s (2sc, inc, 2sc) repeat 6 times, this means to work 2sc, inc, 2sc; 2sc, inc, 2sc until the end; so, after the first increase, there are 4sc instead of 2sc (which I guess where most mistakes happen).
