@@chosen1one930Link isn’t clueless. I’ve been watching for over 10 years and he’s leaned into it as much as Rhett has. Link is very smart and you can tell that he’s joking a lot of the time. He knows that the crew is quick to laugh at him so he just goes with it.

I love these compilations, I really do. BUT these titles are often so misleading. Half of these videos are not necessarily Link being offensive. It’s mostly just Link being funny, and sometimes it’s not even Link, it’s Rhett.

This “bit” has becoming a little unhinged. Link is nearly hurting people. Rhett signed up for this because he makes just as much. But he is literally in charge of these people’s jobs. He is holding power over his employees jobs and livelihood that he can just do whatever he wants. It’s a power dynamic that I think is actually pretty gross. Him fucking up and doing or saying stuff wrong and then apologizing isn’t good enough. I know they blow it off like “oh it’s just Link- he doesn’t have a filter- he’s a simpleton” but you can tell Lilly was hurt by “you’re going to be a bad mother”. And almost stabbing Chase in the knee? It was enough with the dart. It’s not funny that he shouldn’t handle sharp things and then does- it’s dangerous. There is absolutely no way that if they were at a normal job these employees would ever put up with this nonsense. It’s not funny anymore. Him eating chocolate that someone wanted is funny. Him talking about how he think Stevie would look good pregnant is inappropriate. I have a lot of feelings about this. Obviously.
