The best episode yet.. As the story is now at its climax, each side each person has reason for fighting what they believe is "right"., but everyone is loss about situations the same time. The show did well by showing us a lot of clues of each character personality since the beginning of the show. Things such as the ex-cop lawyer guy always shows a claim face to hide his insane emotion inside, not trusting anyone, wear gloves all the time avoid being touch, etc. The Word i use to describe this Ep is PAIN. I feel the pain from each of the characters, some have more pain than others, but they all endure a large a amount of emotional pain in a situation no body fully understand what is going on, even the "badguys", all trying their best to find a way to stop the pain they are suffering. I personally feel for XiXi the most she one of few who remains innocent and pure from beginning, even she suffered so much from her past and also has to endure the guilt from the crime committed by her beloved brother, while living under an insanely sensitive adopted father who's also a crime boss himself. It's just Insssssssane!!! 😢

I just start to like Ma, he's just a paid thug, hasn't actually kill anyone(if it was Qian shot the sister), all he wants was to get paid for his muscle works, but nope, all his employers are psychopath who will literally kills for fun. if I was MCs, I'll make him a better offer right now, help us incapacitated the two remaining bad guys, we'll pressure Cpt. Xiao to come up with some deal, you walk away and become a background helper for our hypothetical season 3 adventures. **EDIT** I'll make a crazy prediction that the dead rich kid's phone contains a selfie of himself when he met TianChen by the pool at the first time, and when CXS sees it he is going to take the risk of intervening with the past and use it to go back as the young rich kid and talks TianChen out of his murdering future, and suffers the consequence.

Prediction Time: Qiao Linf will get power from Tianxi Li or Tianchen Li and the mysterious guy who we haven't seen in present time will appear in the last 10 min of the episode

TianChen blames CXS because he had the chance to change the past but he did nothing and stood by and let it all happen. The time travel rules don't apply to them. He says they are living in hell because that is their current present that they want changed. That ending is an OOF. The most innocent and blameless character getting shot and falling into this pit hits hard. I am glad you get it with Lawyer Qin. When you've based your entire existence it is hard to just suddenly accept all the terrible things you've done was in the wrong. At first I thought it didn't make sense but then yeah you cannot just turn it off. You don't go from Good to Bad back to Good in a flip of switch.

This episode is full of.... Pain. I also don't get why CXS getting the photo as the lil sis ruined their lives. Maybe will need to review that episode, but I'm busy rewatching my favorite scenes from the latest episode 😆

Dw, I screamed on your behalf. "why do I hear the ending song guys" should literally be Link Click's tagline, it's TORTUROUSSSSSSSSS I laughed so hard to your reaction to Qian Jin shooting Ma lmao. Our resident lvl100 mafia boss is literally the most pathetic human in existence and yet I love his character so much for it. As much as I love complex, competent villains, once in a while I also love crybaby, whiny, but also still competent villains LOL. Will make for maximum satisfaction when/if they defeat him omg. Loved your comments on Lawyer Qian, and what makes E9 (the theater episode) so special to me is that it really shows his delusional perspective. I think HE believed he and Tianchen were sharing a moment and used that to justify using and manipulating a CHILD, but from Tianchen's perspective some random weird adult waltzes in on the worst the day of his life, and I doubt Tianchen ever felt any affection for Lawyer Qian at all. Would I date an actor? Bruh COULD I date an actor lol......or anyone......😵 As for Tianchen's resentment, I think Tianchen feels like he cried out to Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi for help by handing them the photo and was ignored by them. From his perspective, LG and CXS did nothing, because Tianchen's reality is still "hell", and if Cheng Xiaoshi HAD done something, Tianchen's reality should have changed for the better. IMO Tianchen's plan was doomed from the start, because how the f was CXS supposed to know what Tianchen wanted to change lol. But ofc, Tianchen is broken to the point of irrationality at this point, and due to his trauma he also has a visceral hatred for bystanders, which is what he now believes Cheng Xiaoshi to be. He doesn't know about LG and CXS's self-imposed "don't change the past" rule (although at this point I'm not sure if the past COULD change even if CXS wanted it to, or if everything really is fated). "I wanna go home" is gonna hurt me forever asdfjkl; Li Tianxi is such a tragic character,............
