Not necessarily. The red and blue tunics are associated with the different temples because they are needed to complete that temple. The heroes clothes (green tunic) are the default, starting clothes. so they aren't really associated with the forest temple.

That's not really true though seeing as Link wears the green kokiri tunic from the beginning of the game.. :P It doesn't hold a special ability required to complete the forest temple, whereas the goron tunic allows him to withstand the heat of the fire temple and the zora tunic allows him to breathe underwater :)
