Link graduated summa cum laude (number one in his class, and a semester early) from NC State with a degree in industrial engineering, and worked for a couple of years at IBM. At that point, they made the decision that they were going to leave engineering to go on staff at Campus Crusade, so Link left IBM and Rhett was laid off the day he planned to give his two weeks notice.
