Link’s lack of gentleness surprises me not only because of the nature of his personality but also because in my experience, guys are always far too gentle with my hair for the fear of tears. Even when I was little, my brother and dad would hold my hair clenched in a fist at the top just to avoid the pain of brushing at the bottom. It was completely pain-free, yet completely inefficient.

i’ve been feeling pretty down lately, and with that I neglect my self care/makeup/hair doing, even though I feel much better after making myself presentable. this really inspired me to take some time with myself and do some nice makeup, etc, like getting ready for work was enjoyable and not a chore. it’s like i’m getting ready with my friends :) thanks guys, I really love y’all being a part of my daily routine
