Its not a control thing. Link is very mindful of what viewers can see. Youll see him repositioning items and monitoring his own seating/facing constantly, in an effort to put on the best show. If people sat down in the ideal position initially, he wouldnt ask them to move.

Honestly I think that is why Link and Rhett work as friends. They are both overwhelming/overbearing but in different ways. And they are both stubborn and blunt so they don't push each other around.

Link has not always been unstable. He's clearly dealing or not dealing with mental issues. Narcissistic personality disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, and bipolar disorder are just a few disorders that what he could be struggling with. Thing is, his family, friends and co-workers also have to deal with this too which we are not seeing. It makes for interesting at times content but it's also sad to see a mature adult behave like this which obviously he doesn't seem to be in control of ATM.

Remember, he plays things up for the camera, and also remember it's REALLY common (and normal) for us to project onto them. There was one MB who didn't know why, but she felt *sure* Matt Lieb was dying of an illness. A little conversation with her revealed that her father a) had recently passed and b) had used similar gestures and intonations to Matt Lieb. She was emotionally stressed, and seeing her father's illness in a KZbin video was the result.
