@@tomjoad1917 Why there is so much editing with the guitars? The solo we hear is DEFINITELY NOT the solo played in the concert, especially at the end of the solo it is really obvious, I know Jon is a killer beast of a guitarist and he probably does a couple minor mistakes here and there even if he does any and other guitarist seems to play the solos really well just a couple different parts, I really wonder why they decided to record this in the fucking studio instead of using the live sound

This is hands down one of the best iced earth songs EVER . The desert rain is changing me It's called on me to rise AND THATS ALL I GOT TO SAY ...
@thesentinelsfootballchanne321210 ай бұрын
I love the concept that John brings to the song. Desert rain representing all the adversity and suffering you have to go through in order to rise and become that self actualized individual you always wanted to be. And John has the freaking right hand of God. I don't know how he does it

Hi Greece, American iced earth fan here. thank you for being so good to iced earth. There's not a lot of American power metal bands that can sustain success without a solid place to always make money and you've always supported the band to the point where John chose to continue on with the band after the tragedy of September 11th. If he had ended the band, my life might be over. I found his music at a time in my life I needed it. His music speaks to me in a way that early Metallica did. That rage. It soothes the beast within me.

Would've loved to have been there! The sound recording makes for one of the best live albums ever made by a Heavy Metal band, captures it all. Epic to the core! Super stuff

The ride symbal from 2:22 to 3:03 will always be my favorite detail in any Iced Earth song. That and the drumming at the end of "Holy Martyr" on this particular album. So tasty!

Great track! Probably my most favorite track from Iced Earth. The only thing I don't like about this clip is that even with the guitar solo parts, the camera focuses on Jon Schaffer even though he's playing the rhythm part. I know that he's the band leader but it's quite off-setting to hear a guitar solo and see rhythm playing on the screen.
@silafuyang86757 жыл бұрын
Yes, but the rhythm guitar is everything in Iced Earth.
