I remember that when my grandmother passed away two months after Chester back in 2017 {middle of September}, apart from One More Light, this was the other song / instrumental piece I had heard and I was feeling quite ruined because it reminded me how attached I was to my grandmother. She was sure that, although I would graduate from a university, she wouldn't live long enough to witness it. It took me around 2-3 months to get over the loss, but I was attached to the music piece. I won't regret having Linkin Park as my healing factor on that. To this day, 5,5 years later, I am still Attached to that.

I'm not a singer or anything, but I've been really wanting to come up with my own lyrics for this. No, it would never, ever be posted online (I don't know how to do any of that recording stuff even if I wanted to and as a woman, I would need to hire a guy to sing it to sound anything like LP). It would just be something to enjoy singing to myself when I hear this song since I love it so much. Though I'd love to hear if anyone else has written something for it. And yet...I also don't. Nothing makes you feel like a copy-cat and that you're stealing someone else's words faster than hearing another person's version. I actually decided to find this song on KZbin instead of Spotify for that very reason, but I think I'm going to try to write mine first, and then see if anyone else has done the same or if I'm just the lone weirdo 😅. Hopefully whenever I'm done, perhaps someone has.
