Still coming back here for this classic. Linkin Park is one of the most underrated bands of all time. Chester is literally a one in a million singer and the music these guys produced was way ahead of their time. Noone to this sounds like them and noone ever will.

Bruvva Linkin Parks hybrid theory and Meteora days are definately not underrated. What's underrated about linkin park is after those two albums they tried new stuff and it was still fucken awesome just not for the radio. Only true fans know anything past minutes to midnight. Mike wrote this.Chester refused to sing it when he first heard the lyrics because it brought back so many painful memories of his past.He'd get really emotional when singing it.Now,he says its his favorite song.Im not for sure who Mike wrote this for but seeing as how he and Chester are so close and theyre best friends,im guessing he wrote it thinking of Chester.

Well.. im replying 12 years later but here it is. This song was written for a friend of mikes actually. Mike started writing this song before Chester actually joined the band, but it never clicked into place. The rest is as you said it. Which is actually also the reason why they didnt perform BTH live in 2003 at first. Chester would start choking up... The first performance at Smokeout Chester was visibly emotional
