I saw this performance live back on the Projekt Revolution tour in 07/08. Not only that…it was my first show EVER! Talk about setting a high bar 😂

Also not many know that Chester was the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots 2013-2015. There's a good quality full show on youtube from 2013. Interesting that both LP singers had their own grunge era (Dead Sara for Em)... :D :D More interesting the fact that he also became the lead singer of an iconic band that had an iconic singer before him, and also was a huge STP fan for a long time. Literally like Emily for LP. Also same interviews on topics like "it's not about erasing the past", "moving on" etc.

And if you go back to some of those videos, some of the comments from the time period were less than enthusiastic about the change, not dissimilar from the reaction to Emily. It's remarkable how similar the situation was.

I would highly suggest watching Chester join Chris and his band for "Hunger Strike" from the same concert. Both make me emotional to watch, just seeing them sing together and both SO happy in those moments.
