his live screams will always send chills down my spine, i could never get tired of hearing him sing and the rest of the band playing. Grew up listening to them, saw them during the Project Revolution tour with my wife, when we were both teenagers almost 15 years ago. i never thought a band i saw as a kid would have such an impact on my life. Chester, Mike, Brad, Rob, Joe and Dave, thank you all for the amazing years of insane music, great concerts and inspiring a whole generation of artists and listeners.

Screaming doesn't actually damage your voice unless you don't know how to do it correctly. Fry screaming is the easiest and safest method, so it's easy to switch on the spot. Plus it barely uses any air, so it can be held for a LOOOOONG time without any issue

I probably have a lot to practice still since I can't seem to get it consistently, sometimes I can do it near perfectly, and other times I can't manage it at all, and on average I probably sound like a squawking bird. But you're not wrong about it not using much air, that's the one thing I'm able to do. If I get it right, the scream in Given Up isn't a problem when it comes to breath control. I find it's more difficult to sustain the quality of the scream rather than the scream itself, since the tone quality can still vary!

Of course they were the real deal, but also had very good mixers and sound engineers. This was carefully edited and balanced by really talented people, that's why it sound amazing. This was part of a DVD if not mistaken, so that takes it up a few notches in terms of quality.

Over 20 years ago, I was in my early teens. High school was hard especially when I didn’t know anybody, a completely foreign environment but I chose this school over another school where the majority of my friends went to. LP’s songs represented my teenage years very well and as I grow up (older and hopefully wiser) their songs are remained true to me.
