This song is also set to be used in Season 2 of the League of Legends show Arcane so there’s a chance the band might be shown in a scene of the show performing this song. I think they might because in season 1 they had Imagine Dragons work on the intro song and even featured them performing it during an episode of the season.

Please give the source? As far as I am informed this is ONLY for the worlds anthem and has nothing to do with Arcane. Christian Linke posted the list of artists involved for Arcane S2 on twitter 2 weeks ago and there was no Linkin Park listed. However, the Linkin Park is 100% performing at worlds opening ceremony.

To me this song has different meanings, The crown, is about the League of Legends thing, obvious, but It also represents the new singer having to lift the crown, she is here to carry Chases crown and let me tell such a crown is indeed heavy, she has big shoes to fill, and the last meaning (to me personally) is Linkin Park going back to this type of songs, the best the band ever released.

Most honorable thing to do would be hiring leas singer that Chester admired or really like and can get close to range. This Emily person should join another band.
