Blickt man zurück, so erkennt man Anzeichen für ‘One More Light‘ in Linkin Parks vorherigen Veröffentlichungen.

Great voice. Have been a fan of them since I was a child. They were my first artists I bought music from when I was growing up. I remember buying their CD Hybrid Theory when I was around 12 years old. Saved up all my money to buy their CD. Wish I still had it. Makes me sad thinking after this live performance Chester kills himself shortly after.

In Hochachtung...

During middle school I was trying to find myself amongst my peers and it was really hard not to put on a shell or a mask but Linkin Park as a collective with Chester's Demonic, Angelical, one of... if not, hands down the best voices to ever grace my ears musically ever since I started listening to music. Chester and the rest of Linkin Park and the music they made gave me something to go to when you really couldn't speak to anyone else at that time period in your life because nobody would understand you because you couldn't even understand yourself. Chester and Linkin Park gave me strength when I needed it. They gave me hope, they gave me the courage to become an individual when I was lost in a crowed sea of people. I can't even count the number of times that their music helped us misfits, fit in... THANK YOU Chester, Mike, Joe, Brad, Rob, and Phoenix Dave! #RIPChesterBennington #LINKINPARKFOREVER It's June 2019 now and this shit still hurts like a motherfucker... Rest In Paradise Chester aka the greatest voice to have ever graced the Rock genre. Nobody and I mean nobody can come close to Chester Bennington's vocals and no one ever will... as sad as that sounds. #KINGofROCK

2 days until my birthday. 4 days until the day Chester passed. I found this in a playlist of acoustic songs from Linkin Park, and I don't regret listening to it. Chester genuinely made me laugh here. And as I was trying to sing along through the whole thing, I found it difficult because he would always make me laugh before the singing starts. The smile on his face was so bright and contagious, I miss him so much. To the man who was such a huge part of my growing up through his music, rest in peace.

It’s almost as if Chester soaked all of our negative emotions, depressions and struggles through middle and high school life, saved so many lives in the process, and then ultimately paid the price to save us.

Yeah, I think about it too. Singing your heart out in their relatable songs must take a toll on his mental health. Singing our struggles and pain throughout their career.

"...what I really like about it is when we do these older songs like this and then play the new stuff and I know that especially for the Hunting Party people are like yeah!! Rock!! Huh!! And that's great, we love that stuff. But I think.. it's really.. NEED TO SEE....HOW...SIMILAR THE NEW STUFF IS WHEN COMPARED TO THE OLDER STUFF...when we play it this way, it does tie everything together and that makes me really happy..." Chester Bennington.
