I'm always weak to two things: strings, and Linkin Park. Three things, if you add Melodicka Bro covers! Benedetta nailed it. This is shot beautifully. Dave's voice is so elegant and gave me a shiver! And Joe, oh Joe. I can hear things I'm POSITIVE you were behind. The instrumental is weaved together perfectly. I love this so, so much. Thank you for sharing your talent. Also, thank you keeping Linkin Park's art alive. If I could give you each a friendly hug for all that you do, I would.

You make these things that feel like they were waiting, part of our collective memory, ready to take shape-- but are somehow completely fresh and new at the same time. The percussion, the harmonies, that mandolin sound!! Beautiful work.

it is amazing of Linking Parks teenage angst, becomes so mature emotions and wise lyrics when Melodicka Bros reinterpret it. The magic only works because Linking Park has anchored the teenage angst deeply with the lyrics and melody - but all the more powerful is the resolve into more nuanced emotions with less energy, but more depth.

Fuck I miss Chester. There's been such a deep hole in my life since the music died with him. He was with me in my playlists from the 4th grade until my late 20s. It's like a dear friend is gone. I'd love to hear his voice sing just one new song again. There are very few vocalists that can come close to what he did. His vocal quality was just so unique. It hurts to know how alone he felt. I know I can't be alone saying that I wish I had just one opportunity to have been there for him, just to show him that we did care and he was not alone.

I remembered black skies The lightning all around me I remembered each flash As time began to blur Like a startling sign That fate had finally found me And your voice was all I heard That I get what I deserve So give me reason To prove me wrong To wash this memory clean Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes Give me reason To fill this hole Connect this space between Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies Across this new divide There was nothing in sight But memories left abandoned There was nowhere to hide The ashes fell like snow And the ground caved in Between where we were standing And your voice was all I heard That I get what I deserve So give me reason To prove me wrong To wash this memory clean Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes Across this new divide In every loss, in every lie In every truth that you'd deny And each regret, and each goodbye Was a mistake too great to hide And your voice was all I heard That I get what I deserve So give me reason To prove me wrong To wash this memory clean Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes Give me reason To fill this hole Connect this space between Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies Across this new divide Across this new divide Across this new divide
