This song really is something especial and raw. I had a blast hearing it when it came out. Such an intense and beautiful delivery. I think you will love to hear Victimized by them. Give it a try, it's pretty heavy.

I'm actually so happy to hear that "No More Sorrow" is your favourite! Not because it's mine (although I love it!), but because one of the things I appreciate to most about Linkin Park is how diverse their entire catalogue is; there's almost something for everyone. I'm glad you found the part that most appeal to you ❤ I think you were very fair, and I don't see why any fan should take offense to what you said; you just stated a personal preference, while acknowledging that what the band does works for them. I personally like the blend the band has, liking both some of their more digital sounding songs, and their more organic sounding ones. One of my favourite songs is "The Messenger", which is almost just some of Chester's rawest vocals, and an acoustic guitar ❤

I love the long intro (it's so epic) but I see your point! No More Sorrow is not my favorite heavy song from them (found it too repetitive for my taste) but I still like it. Awesome review David!

The intro isn’t on the studio recording. They often extend intros some songs for live shows, like this one. Also, you’d love The Hunting Party!

Linkin Park is my favorite Band so I'm always looking forward to more reactions of their live stuff! I would love to hear your thoughts on: Pushing Me Away Japan 2007 (Piano version), Bleed It Out Milton Keynes 2008, The Messenger Madrid 2010, some additional recommendations: With You Milan 2001, Forgotten Vegas 2002, Breaking The Habit Japan 2007, When They Come For Me ITunes Festival 2011, Waiting For The End Moscow 2011(with Jornada Del Muerto Intro) , Rebellion Camden 2014, LP Medley Beijing 2015 or literally anything from Texas 2003, Rock am Ring 2004 or 2007. (small side note if you're wondering why a few of these don't seem to have as many views, a lot of these were first uploaded by Phoenix220 but their channel sadly got taken down 1 or 2 years ago)

The album this came off , minutes to midnight , is a fantastic album. I just wish they’d have stuck with this sound . Instead they elected to go a way more electronic / pop sound after that album. Minutes to midnight however was a great evolution from the first two albums.

The wonderful thing about Linkin Park is that they did what they wanted and didn’t sit on and pump out what the market and their record label was telling them to make. They evolved as people and a band and going through their catalogue is a joyous experience. There are many more songs as ‘organic’ and ‘classic’ as this. Keep up the good work

I love all of their songs. I can't choose a favorite because they are all really good songs. This is my favorite performance of this song. Mike at the beginning of it was able to basically control the crowd with just playing his guitar a certain way.

This album came out in 2007 and it was one of my first deep dives into metal when I was pre teen and I freaking lost my shit over this lol

There is another song that is similar but not as heavy, without a DJ, just instruments incorporating themselves in layers It starts with piano and then just acoustic guitar and voice It's called the little things give you away by Linkin Park (watch live)

As a LP fan: Nothing you said was controversial. They're not perfect by any means. Still loved em. Part of it was growing up with them and evolving as a person as they evolved as a band. But nobody can deny that some of their stuff isn't for everyone

This live version had an extended intro, I think its one of their weakest, studio intro got to the point. studio version is better in general
