That album punches me in the gut- especially over and over bc I had a friend try over and over and she finally bing herself. She did it in the tree in front of her youngest son’s bedroom. My daughter was up getting ready to leave for a cheer competition and the husbands screams are not describable. Going to go binge on some Mike, the song Over and Over shreds my soul every time.

Beautiful song one of my favorite linkin park songs ever and hearing Chesters gut wrenching scream gives me chills. The band wrote this song I believe for one of there friends from the record label who died from cancer or something. Still an incredibly moving song to dedicate to Chris Cornell especially hearing Chester one more time. And when Chester passed the linkin park fans made this there memorial song for Chester. I’m one of the lucky ones to see them live in Denver in 2012. LP4L #makechesterproud great reaction. I enjoy your content. 🤟🏻

I moved to San Antonio from California when I was 16. I am now 35. I hated it. I missed California. I had watched laker games before but wasn't a huge basketball fan. But watching lakers play here I felt good. So I watched Lakers alot more bc I felt like I was back home when I watched them. Then watching Kobe play was exciting. Even when they lost just watching him on the court was just a magical thing. He was hated by many, especially spurs fans.lol The games I went to were intense. Especially when the lakers lost. Walking out off the stadium fans chanting lakers suck. If you were a laker fan it made you smile bc to me kobe brought that hate bc of how good and unstoppable he was. Through his career I loved watching him play. I dont really know where I'm going with this but definately emotional after his passing. And just watching everyone he touched give their testimonies of him. Just Amazing! 😢

Martin Calva I'm from SA too and I do remember blindly disliking him because of the Laker/Spur rivalry. As I grew older I learned how special and dedicated he was to anything he put effort into. From basketball, coaching, philanthropy and most importantly, family, Kobe had my appreciation. The "Mamba Mentality" will continue to live through us all.

Hey man. I don’t comment often but figured i would here. For context, i’m a 28 year old dude living in Vancouver Canada. I just want to say that usually im not a fan of these types of videos where ppl react to videos and such. The constent pause and play format. But you’re different. You’re very sure of yourself and you bring a lot of value and info to everything you react to, whether i knew the info or not, and you’re extremely good at projecting to your audience. Keep it up man. If KZbin doesnt work out for whatever reason, you for sure have a lot of positive attributes that I could see leading to public speaking and such. You for sure hold my attention and i really like what you do and say man. Keep killing it.

I remember it too. I was at home when the news broke and I tried so hard to deny it and thinking it was a cruel joke. But when a friend and I texted each other about it I legit broke down and could not stop for a few days because I understand what it feels like to be depressed and suicidal. I was inches from doing it myself. Chester and his music helped me in more ways than I can admit. I wish I knew, I wish in some way I could have helped him. I keep going so I can help those who are troubled and depressed. Currently doing that for a good friend and I will do anything to make sure he’s happy.

I was 16 when, while sitting at the kitchen table, my heart stopped. I collapsed. However many seconds later it began beating again. Approaching the every edge of that "moment" with no warning, and living to realize you were maybe seconds away from the end of you moment brings an entire new perspective on life that just cannot be shared. Enjoy today. Smile at something. Find something beautiful. Tell someone you love them. In whatever small way you can, make today matter. Even your worst day alive is a day you got to live. Then do it again tomorrow. We never know.

I know this is not a new video. It’s not a new song. I listened to it just now though, and your analysis of the unspoken queues Chester gave out. His voice cracking, subtle variations in his tone or body movements. Even the guitarist looking up. It really resonated with me. Oddly enough as someone who has never been into basketball but has the same empty pit in my chest when I see, hear or think about Kobe and the others we lost with him. The reaction didn’t have very much time left, it cut out and you came back the next day for maybe 10-20 seconds, maybe more. I could feel your pain coming though before it cut off and you still came back to finish. I just want to tell you I appreciate you. I've been a fan of LP for a long time before i even i realised it. RIP CHESTER. RIP KOBE. I'm honestly more into the lyrics of this song rather than the beat which is really simple but a lot of incredible songs actually are like this. That scream is in the recorded version on the album, it's just super muted and blended in to the background, but it's there. This performance STILL, to this day, is not something I can get through without just breaking down. I miss Chester Bennington so much. I feel like the world let him down, even though that's not true because it was his own choice, I still feel it. He helped me almost my ENTIRE life to get through the darkest times when I couldn't articulate my own feelings. He was there pulling them out of me. He saved so many, and we couldn't save him. I regard not listening to Linkin Park before Chester died😭 I really like Linkin Park. I missed out on such a Legend, When I heard Chester Died I didnt really know who he is and I've been listening to Linkin Park for about a year and I regret not listening to Linkin Park earlier

Kobe and Chester's death are the only celebrity deaths that really took a toll on me. Once Em is gone, it's gonna fuckin destroy me. I love Em as much as my parents and siblings.

I wasn't a Kobe fan, because I'm not a basketball fan, but I know what you mean. I'm a Real Madrid fan and when I see videos of Juanito (he died in a car accident) or Di Stefano, who I don't even see playing, but saw representing Real Madrid as a club legend I feel the same.

It breaks my heart that someone who brought such beauty and light to this miserable little ball of mud we call home, was unable to overcome the darkness and pain within himself. RIP Chester! 😢

Leave Out All The Rest was the song that hit me the hardest after Chester's death. I cried for a good 3 days playing only that song.

Taking a rest from the twenty one pilot binge and to watch this coz i saw it when i was scrolling. Damn, this will be hard. Let's see if i can go through without breaking. Also, Kobe's death was so painful. I understand how you feel.

This is still so hard to listen to man! It was a heavy listen when we lost Chris but became even harder when we lost Chester! And i love that "I Do!" I think it is in the actual song its just heavily filtered in the back of the mix! I wish we could hear it like that on the record but we still have this amazing performance!

Wow, thank you for this reaction and sharing your emotions on such a tragic story. I’m not a basketball fan so I can’t relate like you do but I knew who Kobe was and it still hurt. Plus his daughter and the others. My heart literally breaks. This song pains me to my core. Chester was such an inspiration to me, his voice and energy really made Linkin Park complete and his death really made me an emotional wreck. I was so confused for how upset I was from someone’s passing who Ive never met but felt like I’ve known literally for so many years. I first heard this song after he passed and it got me.. Then, about a year and half later my dad left the same way Chester did. Which has changed my life and my whole perspective of this song and now I can barely listen to it but of course I had to watch this reaction. ❤️

It’s a powerful song heavier than any other songs I’ve heard around this particular area in my life. lately with a lot of Ronnie, Ren and Sam Tompkins been basically forcing me into my feels. Bastards 😝. I appreciate you bro! A family member so close to me is dealing with a certain decline and I am not perfect dealing with this in my own life. She’s extremely close to me and my entire life I wasn’t as close as now and it hurts so much that i nearly overlooked her. I didn’t get it right until now. It seems that life can just suddenly surprise us so we gotta “stand tall” with the most important people we know.
