Try recording using a phone that can shoot in 30 FPS. You’ll get the zoetrope effect.

The reason why the text is mushed is because the printing wasnt good

Yeah I figured this out a little while back; with suitcase record players ruining vinyls. Luckily I haven't played the Zoetrope since this video and it is displayed on my wall. I only play non-rare or cheap vinyls now just to be safe until I get a better record player, but thanks for the advice too
