hey man im glad you liked the song :) youre right its a lot different compared to my december, the song is very experimental and almost got an RnB vibe to it. sadly it was way ahead of its time (for them) and Warner wouldnt have let them put it on Hybrid Theory. To Defend My December a bit i can say that there is a completly different piano/stripped version that they played live around 2007/2008 wich isnt that monotonous.

"She Couldn't" does have more of a groove and just more to it in general than "My December." I'm glad you enjoyed it. Fun fact: this was one of the first songs Linkin Park recorded with Chester after he joined, but it was leaked about a decade later.
