You sir, are not alone. I've met him (and the rest of the group) I sat and had a full on conversation with Chester. He truly was an amazing guy! The fact that he took the time to speak to a simple security guard for 45 minutes was really telling how he cared for his fans. I let him know that his music was the definition of my childhood and it helped me through depression in a huge way. When he sat down and opened up about his personal life, I was amazed and I was all ears. Sometimes they just need a friend even if it's for 45 minutes.

I don't normally like putting politics into music but this song... written for the victims of Katrina, has its integrity and independence as a masterpiece of art.
@monikaszymanowska514210 ай бұрын
Agreed, but not "ocasionally". We have Dylan, RATM, even Boss, we had Sinead and many others, all of them shining with the truth of their beliefs, totally immersed into politics since origin and that's really great. What I was trying to say is that I'm not too thrilled about artistic manifests thrown out by more or less commercial bands or singers (while being commercial itself is not a flaw) from time to time, when something bad happens. @ivanrenard3153

This and 46 & 2 are my two favorite songs of all time. Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Please think of others before making the choice. If you had a year to decide whether to do it or not, would you, at this moment, make the same choice? Once the booze or meth or heroin or whatever wears off and you wake up the next day staring at the ceiling…. Do you make the same choice? If you ever find yourself in this position, give it five more minutes. Then give more minutes. Then five more.
