1:25:27 Time between 6 and 18 month is for presenting second motion and not the original petition. This is done to double cross check that if there is any chance of saving marriage by giving extra time to couple to rethink about their decision to end their marriage.

My opinion enforcing a HMA rule or act without being briefed before marriage is not correct. Unlike a driving licence necessary to legitimately drive a vehicle on roads, like wise HMA should be conveyed of its pros and cons to a marrying couple. It's better to sign a contract on every expenditure. As misusing and wrong interpretation of law is rampant, causing severe mental agony to innocent citizens is not correct. As per rule book factory act is to displayed, likewise display marriage act in all wedding premises, temple etc., As few unscrupulous legal advisor all for the sake of hefty fees are misleading innocent victims. This is unethical practice to be stopped, faulty affidavits under oath are to be severely reprimanded. Satya meva Jayate
