Hello, im trying to find a mesh router system that allows me to port forward without the IP being linked to a MAC address. Can you forward multiple ports with the same MAC address?

How do you setup wired backhaul on the velop mesh system?

You just run the wires and connect the child nodes to the parent using any of the Ethernet ports (including the WAN port on the child nodes), and it will automatically use that connection for wired backhaul. You can also daisy chain the child nodes together as long as one of them connects back to the parent node.

Hello, I just purchased the two node system. Do I have to rename my wifi to something different and does that entail changing all my equipment such as the Ring cameras to the new name and password?

Although you can use the same name for 5GHz and 2.4 GHz band, your device from Ring, for example, must use the new password that you entered from the new router
