Yes, it's a very special dog. In many ways. His father is Tsappo, Mathias who died in Dec 2015, owned the dog Tsappo. Tsappo was with me on many hikes and now his son is with me every day. "junior" is rock hard and has been in the woods since he was very small. Super friendly with our daughter and like a wolf in the woods. Very strong. Do you have any snow left? Here it is gone, but there is little left in the mountains. Greetings L-O

Love the fluid, tireless pace Junior has. The snow is gone and the ice on the rivers is finally breaking up (late this year) but Lake Winnipeg, a huge inland lake is still full of ice so every time the winds switch the NW you can feel it. Probably the odd patch in the bush but we're now battling fires with bone dry conditions and the water bombers are unable to use the waterways yet to fight fires so we're in a very precarious situation this year.
