Thank you for sharing your shopping with us. It is so interesting to see what people in other countries purchase and the cost of the items. For anyone wondering the conversion rate is 100 yen equals American 75 cents. Cheers. I just wanted to add that your produce seems very reasonably priced. Here in the US is it outrageous to buy fresh produce. Also lately it isn't that good. Very annoying.

The prices are a lot cheaper than the Korean video that I saw. On par or cheaper than UK. £1 = 168 Yen.

​@@uszatku9417 its something related to Presentation and respect, like gifts, but i think they do this for presentation, i got this from a few sites, such as BBC, and LiveJapan, its a common thing apparently! But they are trying to make reusable bags according to LiveJapan so thats good.

Egg shortage... In America prices are coming down thankfully and no shortage

Is it usual to shop little and often because the carts are very small. I love the variety of products, its so interesting. I like the small packet of bread for example. Here in the UK so much bread is thrown away because the loaves are too big and go mouldy before you eat it all.
