Weekly Grocery Shopping in Japan and Make a Pre-Halloween Dinner | Living in Japan Vlog

My simple life is to go grocery shopping and cook at home🎵
I enjoy a good meal, and all the awesome Japanese dessert and snacks✨

[Recipe for Gratin in this Video]
1. Cook 1 sliced onion and about 250g bacon in 4 tbsp of butter
2. Add in 4 tbsp of flour, and mix well
3. Add 800ml of milk, about 1/4 tsp of salt, and some pepper,
mix until thick (then the white sauce is done!)
4. Cook 100g of macaroni in boiling water according to instructions
5. Combine macaroni with white sauce
6. Add in blanched spinach or cooked pumpkin if preferable
7. top with cheese
8. grill in oven or toaster until cheese is melted and browned.

Only the fruit and tomato cost more than Canada. But the Japanese fruit has much higher quality, so it is not even comparable.

Totally agree! I think, if you are to get the same quality of fruits outside Japan, it would cost at least the same or more!
