In the US, kids use that giant chalk to draw on sidewalks. Here it’s called sidewalk chalk. The rain or water just washes it away after the kids play with it.

@@LinnainJapan yeah. Since it’s temporary and kids only draw on their parents driveways and sidewalks it’s not a problem. You can dump water on it and it will go away. No problems ☺️

I love shopping at daiso. But I always buy too much 😅I go for one thing and come back out with two shopping basket full. Even when i was living there. My husband got me those lights to put in a bottle. I put them in an old sake bottle which has a bit of the frosted glas. it's a fun addition to my winter decor I love those sponges they work so well! I also but the oil hardening powder at daiso. it makes throwing away used frying oil so much easier when it has become a hard block. I need that tape!! I'll put it on my list to buy for the next time i'm in Japan. Probably this spring. Really looking forward to it if the world situation stays the same or improves. For me to keep my stove clean I also put aluminium foil on the surface. That way I don't have to clean it every time I cook. Fun to see those caramel waffles everywhere in Japan now. In the Netherlands we call them stroopwafels. you can of course buy them in the supermarket in packs but at the weekly market you can buy them freshly made, still hot and they are really big. I always love putting different veggies in my meatballs. Easy way when my daughter was a totler to get her to eat more vegetables hahaha and even now she is 8 and I still do that. Just a healthy habit

Hi Linna! Very nice video. I see that Daiso has a lot of practical and cute things! We don't have Daiso stores in Greece, but a similar, called Jumbo. I love shopping at Jumbo!!! You are right, healthy habits are important to our lives. Unfortunately, I cant keep a habit for too long. I start one, like putting hand cream at night, and then after a week, I stop. The same with water or keeping an everyday journal. I just stop doing it. I sometimes feel so tired and I think that I sometimes stop loving myself. I am a working mum of a 4 year old boy and sometimes I even loose track of time. Like one moment is morning and suddenly, it turns night!!
@LinnainJapan

You must be having too much in your hands, I can feel you🥲 take e a deep breath and slow down. I was a working mom until my younger boy was three while the elder is 6! I understand everything you said ! I remember I questioned myself what is my priority and what can I skip in term of creating more time for myself. I still do that now even I am a stay at home mom. Stay at home can be quite busy too 😅 It’s ok to forget and to quit. But it’s important that we remember back and try to get back I’m in track again. We always have tomorrow to try again! You are doing so well working and taking care of your little one! You deserve lots of rest . I am always here for you 💛

Your Daiso has so many useful items! And, the tape for the windows is so clever. Where I live, it rains for 8 months of the year and my window tracks are impossible to keep clean. I wish I had known about the tape before it was too late. I loved all the washi tape, too. So pretty! I don't know what I would use it for, but I want it, lol! The enoki tukune looked delicious! Are S and K getting excited for Christmas? You are very wise about the importance of cultivating and maintaining healthy, positive habits! They can really, over time, add up to have a huge impact on your life! I wish I had been wise to know that when I was younger. Your boys are lucky to have a mom who can teach them these things. Wishing your family a wonderful week. Take care my friend!

Happy belated birthday 🎉🎉🎉 to you! I hope you had a great day on your birthday 🎂 ! And you know? Our birthdays are very close! I am November baby too! And my elder son is turning 9 too!!! Hand cream in Japan are basically good, I especially like CoenRich from Kose. They are very reasonable with good quality 👍 You can substitute the Enoki with other like corns or edamame with some onion! But I wish you will try with Enoki if you find it! The texture is very good with Enoki!
