Great that you guys did their mashup. This was the conversation in the song thus: It’s a mashup song that was done by Namandingo and Giddes Chalamanda, a 93 year old man who said a lot of things in that song (Although, Chalamanda owns the song). He starts with praising the daughter, Lynn whom he wishes to give out in marriage, she knows how to cook, do the chores and take care of the family. He went further to talk about how his dad left at a very tender age to get to South Africa so as to change their family trajectory, but he never returned and no one really knows what could have happened to him. He still believes that the old man is still alive and he would still see him someday. He reminisced an event, a flood that drowned a wicked district officer on Napolo river and when his corpse was found, the wife was unperturbed about where to bury him. He dreamt of visiting America someday to perform and they rounded the song with Buffalo soldier. It was rumored that he originally sang the Bob Marley song, Buffalo soldier. All these were rendered in that interesting mashup during the Covid - 19 period. He would eventually visit America not so long ago, visited the library of congress and some other communities of Indiana and area with large population of Malawaians. He performed and they raised money for him. They wanted him to stay back but he wanted to return and build a grocery store for his community. He did return and the funds he realized and what the bank, Namadingo got endorsement with raised, was used to build a grocery store in his community. He is a great man and I am a Nigerian narrating this from the USA
