Nara Tokae looks absolutely stunning - somehow Japan has non stop events every months , festive place to be haha - im a sucker for lights mantoro would have been good for instagram :D

Wooooah sweet millenium falcon light! now that you pointed it out I can't stop looking at it go on and off T_T Nara Tokae looks like a scene straight from a romantic anime hahahaha loooks perfect. Cheers, Peter. Haha, yeah that light is a pain to shoot with. I thought it'd look cool but it was so much trouble. There are so many summer lantern festivals to enjoy. I guess they do look like something from an anime.

Ahh we didn't get the chance to visit any events when we were in Japan, we were just trying to hide from the crowds during Golden Week! I'm digging the Yosakoi dancing... but, realistically, I'd love to just go to all!

Golden Week crowds sure are intense. Did you succeed in your mission to avoid them? Yeah, it would be great to go to every festival in Japan. I'm sure sure it would take a few lifetimes though.

There are always various events happening. Maybe not necessarily a really big festival but there's always something interesting.

Actually the best festival near Osaka in September is the Kishiwada Danjiri Matsuri. It's a really big festival and the second vlog I ever made.
