Mi sembra che nonostante lo sviluppo della tecnologia, gli automata antichi a orologeria fossero molto più avanzati e raffinati rispetto a questi, anche quelli costruiti nel 1700. Questi sembrano elementari e quasi ridicoli a confronto con quelli.

These are NOT autometons. Look it up on Wikipedia: An automaton (/ɔːˈtɒmətən/; pl automata or automatons) is a relatively self-operating machine, or control mechanism designed to automatically follow a sequence of operations, or respond to predetermined instructions.
