Thanks for posting this. Linton definitely "made history" and its a shame a lot of people are not familiar with his significant body of work. He is a major artist.

LKJ made some of the most important albums of the 1980's .

I interviewed LKJ at the Tree Cafe in Portland, Maine in 1990 before a performance. At the time he was a very humble, self-effacing but very intimidatingly smart man. He's a hard interview because he is playing chess while you are playing checkers.

There's a comment lower down saying Linton is wrong, you should forgive and forget. Very easy for him to say, if you haven't lived the experience of being the child of an immigrant growing up in 70's and 80's Britain you can not know how it feels to be oppressed. We're not going to turn the other cheek, we will 'fight dem back'.
