Thanks. My WoW bottle was fine but had to patch today. Not working for me as shown but it helped me troubleshoot. Am on Nobara KDE GE Proton DXVK11 compat.bottle. Got it working now.

Ive been trying to get Bnet to work on Bottles using multiple guides and everytime, it freezes at 45% during install. Ive tried on two Arch Linux systems using the flatpak and the AUR package with the same results.

This is going to sound silly but it got me the first time I tried. At a certain point of the install a small popup comes up related to battle.net. If you don’t interact with it, from what I remember the install hangs. Be sure this window isn’t popping up for you and causing the problem.

@@credibledev Thanks but no such thing is happening for me. I finally got Bnet to finish installing on Bottles last night, but could never get it to launch. I have been able to use Steam to install Bnet by adding the setup file to the games list, running it to install, then adding the Launcher exe file to the game list. Works better than Lutris ever did.

When you say arch, do you mean arch or are you talking about Manjaro or some other arch based distro? Also what desktop environment? Was going to try and mimic your scenario.

@@credibledev I am using plain Arch Linux with KDE on the Zen kernel.

I installed arch with kde and the zen kernel on a virtual machine. When I installed battlenet it sit for a long time on installing windows dependencies, long enough I got tired of waiting and walked away. Eventually it went through. I was able to launch battlenet and login. Didn’t try to play a game though.

Worked as a charm thank you! There was one issue though. When I launch it, my resolution cannot be maxed. Usually when I launch it via steam there are two black stripes on the sides of the monitor but the resolution is up to a monitor. If I launch it your way I cannot reach the same behaviour.

Do you know if you delete a bottles does it also delete the game that bottles was tied to? Like if i had trouble with battlenet bottle and i deleted it does it delete the games i had installed with battlenet?

Doesn't COD Warzone have an anti cheat? Try playing games that don't involve a anti cheat like riot vanguard because it often false flags and could get you banned.

Hate to the the bearer of bad news, but Warzone (for the forseeable future) will not work on Linux, even with windows emulation. That's because Easy Anti-Cheat is a kernel level anti-cheat, and currently Wine nor any other software like Bottles emulates the Windows kernel. That will never be possible so long as Windows' kernel is kept proprietary by Microsoft.
