Linux Services RELOADED! (Linux+ Objective 1.7.1)

Linux configuration is mostly all text files in the /etc folder. That sounds intimidating, but it makes changing settings pretty consistent across applications! In this video we look at some standards, and some best practices when dealing with system services. :)

I was wondering why my /etc directory did not have a apt.conf file; I guess it was deprecated at some point. I have been meaning to ask: will mixing using "apt upgrade" and the gnome software manager to update conflict with each other? if so which should be used?

They both use the underlying apt database, so mix and match to your heart’s content! :)
